About Shannon

Shannon is a passionate teacher, mentor, and Biblical Mental Health Coach who encourages women through life’s transitions, pointing them to hope in Christ. She lives in Montana’s beautiful Flathead Valley, where she loves camp, warm water adventures anywhere in the world, and family life with her husband of over 25 years and their three adult children.

One of my favorite quotes by Mother Theresa, "I know God won't give me more than I can handle. I just wish He didn't trust me so much".

Meet Shannon

With a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Family Life Education, I’ve always had a heart for nurturing growth and teaching.  In 2020, I became certified as a Biblical Mental Health Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), equipping me to walk alongside women in both the expected and unexpected seasons of life.

I find deep joy in teaching, mentoring, and encouraging women as they navigate the transitions that come with each unique stage of life. As God’s delightful daughters, we encounter seasons that are both anticipated and unplanned—some that feel like milestones, and others that feel like wilderness. It is a holy privilege to journey with women through those wilderness times, seeking together the hope, tools, and spiritual renewal needed not just to survive, but to thrive and embrace the abundant life offered through Jesus Christ.

I am passionate about creating spaces where women can connect deeply with God and one another—especially through outdoor retreats (camp) and sunny adventures (preferably involving warm water)! I cherish the memories made on marriage and family adventures, and by God's grace, I’ve been blessed to share over 25 wonderful years of marriage with my husband. Together, we've raised three incredible adult children, and we call the breathtaking Flathead Valley of Montana home.

People describe me as compassionate, gentle and grace-filled.  I look forward to hearing how our stories may cross paths.

My Statement of Faith

About God  I believe in one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe in Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and the eternal Son of God, who became fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose again to atone for the sins of all who trust in Him alone for salvation. Through Him, my sins have been forgiven once and for all, and I have been redeemed from eternal separation from God. (Acts 4:10–12)

About the Scriptures: I believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inerrant Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the only infallible rule and divine authority in all manners of faith and life. (11 Timothy 3:16-17).

About Humanity:   All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Yet, by His grace and through the redemption found in Christ Jesus, we are justified and made right before Him. (Romans 3:23–24)

About the Christian Life:  As believers, we are being transformed into the likeness of Christ through the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. Our lives are a journey of growing in grace, truth, and Christlike character. (Romans 8:29)

About the Church: I believe Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, which is His body.  The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by loving Him and by loving and serving one another.

(1 Corinthians 12)
